NEWS… Blog updated 12/13/2009. Over half the windows are complete!
My name is Jason Miller, This blog is dedicated to the restoration of the Peoples National Bank Building in Waynesburg Pennsylvania. Please feel free to comment or share your insight on the PNB building (Old County Building). I am open to suggestions and comments and thank you for your support.
Please bookmark this site and check back often, I will add changes every Sunday night.
I applaud you for seeing the beauty in this beautiful building and working to revitalize it – instead of making it yet another parking lot. Thank you.
It’s great you are working to improve our county seat and our county. We appreciate your efforts! Keep up the good work!
Thanks Darla and Marty, Its a beautiful building and needs to be brought back to life again! Its shame to let it deteriorate any longer! Please check back often for updates!
So I visited JasonMiller.com and instead of answering questions, I have more…
—where are you from? —how did you end up in PA? —What other buildings have you restored? —(I have tons of questions but don’t want to inundate you with them.)
Maybe I can send you some questions as a sort of interview, that you can add as a blog post? We’ll see.
You’re a very interesting person and I’m thrilled to know you are restoring this building. (I am not from PA, nor have I ever visted – though I’d love to.) Thank you for pursuing this endeavor.
Keep up the good work and I look forward to your updates!

Ha,Old cap, this is great ! I visit your last project in Boyd Tx. It is doing great buisness and the food is making its way to fame. Got your EM and looking forward to your visit. We have made arangments and would like to accomedate you and yours at the sunny house of FUN, HAHA! The Bank Project is up Your Alley!Good luck.
Please keep those elevators in original condition I would hate to see the building be restored only to have the elevators modernized.
I agree, the city requires a modern elevator for me to open the upper floors to be leased. I plan to add a new elevator to the rear of the building and restore these to their original condition for display.
Any chance you could talk to someone about making the old elevators up to code? I know it was done in Chicago? There has to be someone out there that does it…
Again – great find with the ceiling – I hope it sparks a preservation boom in Waynesburg. I have always hoped for something like that.
I was wondering if u plan on replicating the original entry way with the colums and arched windows. This would really bring back some of the facade’s original beauty.
That would be great, but its not in the current plans, I am looking for better pictures of the original front.
Thanks
Wonderful to see great things happemning in town! Be in touch!
that would be “happening”!
I happened upon the article in the Greensaver about you and am so happy to see this building being taken care of! I always wondered who owned it now and in the past. Not being from Waynesburg I didn’t know any of the history. Good luck with your work and I hope you find businesses to fill it completely!
I would have expected to see pictures of the original bank lobby. Is it intact or has it been destroyed?
What was the building’s last use?
